★★★ SUMITO® - Stimulate your brain cells! ★★★
SUMITO® is now available on the GAME CENTER. Play with friends and check your rankings online!

How to play SUMITO®
Each SUMITO® grid is made up of blocks, empty squares and squares with numbers.
Each SUMITO® grid is unique and should be completed with figures in order to solve the grid. Two simple rules should be observed:

1. The sum of the squares around each block should be equal to the value of the block.
2. The sum of all the squares (except for the blocks) in a line or in a column should be equal to the value of the circles.

Levels: 9 levels are available, from level 1 with only 1 and 0 as possible figures … to level 9, in which all figures from 0 to 9 are possible.
Size of the grid: 6 sizes are available, ranging from 5 to 10 lines and columns.

Each grid is unique among millions of possible grids!
The original grid contains predetermined figures which cannot be changed.
In order to place a figure in the grid, just touch the cell and select a figure on the virtual keyboard.

Goodbye Kakuro, Hello Sumito!
I downloaded Sumito at my girlfriends apartment on Sunday evening, only minutes after finding out that this game exists at all! Sumito was purchased for just three dollars--an appropriate Sunday price--and it plays much like the still-popular game Kakuro, except that, at last, it allows you to enter any digit from 0 to 9, and repeating a digit in any number combination (whereas Kakuro, also known as Cross Sums, still does not allow zeros, any number over 9, or use the same digit twice). In Sumito you are sup- posed to make a total of whatever the number says in blue circles on the outside, and white numbers in the black squares inside. (For the record, this game actually was born in France, just like its famous cousin Mille Bornes!!!)
Great game!
This is a fun and unique twist on Sudoku and it really fires up those brain cells! I love being able to customize the game by adjusting grid size and difficulty. I do think one important feature is missing and I have a suggestion. It would be helpful if there was an option to be alerted after imputing an incorrect number... perhaps turning the box red? It would be much easier than combing through the entire board with the "clue" button to find your mistake. Adding this extra feature would definitely make Sumito a 5 star app! :)
